THE Museum

The Alaska Law Enforcement Museum  houses a rich collection of the history of those officers who brought law and order to one of the largest and far-flung jurisdictions of America. Come and discover their stories. The museum was founded by F.O.A.S.T. and is maintained by your admission and donations. Thank you for your support.



gift shop

The museum has a gift shop offering a wide range of Alaska State Trooper memorabilia and souvenirs. We have t-shirts, sweatshirt, and a variety of Alaskan trooper and history books. All proceeds help fund the museum and its community activities.


Collection 

Items from the pre-statehood era of law enforcement here in Alaska as the Territorial Police on up through the  modern day Alaska State Troopers can be found here. A fully refurbished 1952 Hudson Hornet used by the troopers in the 50s and an Ivory replica of the infamous U.S. Revenue Cutter Bear. tools used over the years such as the 18-lb "Oregon boot", A "Zip gun" taser, original Polygraphs, vintage recording equipment, and even the guns used by the different Alaskan districts  from the "Sap pistol" and "Cane gun" to the "tommy gun" and modern day Glocks.
