The Fraternal Order of Alaska State Troopers has established a memorial fund to assist AST when there is loss of one of their K-9 officers.

The fund assists in covering the costs directly associated with the replacement of K-9s and related training, which can cost as much as $25,000 per K-9 to be street-ready.
